Patten:
Base of pumpkin(make 2)
Start with a magic loop
Row 1: Ch 1, 12 dc in magic loop, sl st to ch 1. (12)
Row 2: Ch 1, (Fpdc (in the same stitch as ch 1), dc, 2dc)* Repeat around, sl st to ch 1. (24)
Row 3: Ch 1, (fpdc, dc in next 4 stitches)* Sl st to ch 1. (30)
Row 4: Ch 1, (fpdc, dc in next 5 stitches)* Sl st to ch 1. (36)
Row 5: Ch 1, (fpdc, dc in next 6 stitches)* Sl st to ch 1. (42)
Row 6: Ch 1, (fpdc, dc in next 7 stitches)* Sl st to ch 1. (48)
Row 7: Ch 1, (fpdc, dc in next 8 stitches)* Sl st to ch 1. (54)
Row 8: Ch 1, (fpdc, dc in next 9 stitches)* Sl st to ch 1. (60)
Row 9: Ch 1, (fpdc, dc in next 10 stitches)* Sl st to ch 1. (66)
Row 10: Ch 1, (fpdc, dc in next 11 stitches)* Sl st to ch 1. (72).
Tip: If you would like to make this pillow larger just continue the pattern from above, slowly increasing the circle in size.
Sc both circles together(stuffing when ¾ closed), leave atleast 5 stitches open to add the stem.
Stem(make 2):
Ch 6
Row 1: hdc in 2nd chain from hook, hdc across. (5)
Row 2: ch 1, hdc across. (5)
Row 3: Ch 1, 2hdc in first stitch, hdc across, 2hdc in last stitch. (7)
Row 4: Ch 1, hdc across. (7)
Row 5: Ch 1 2hdc in first stitch, hdc across, 2hdc in last stitch. (9)
Row 6: Ch 1, hdc across. (9)
Tie off.
Sc both pieces together, stuff before closing off, weave in ends.
Curly Cues(make 2):
Ch 23
Row 1: 3hdc in each stitch.
Tie off.
Finish Pumpkin by adding stem to the top, either slip stitch through stem or weave on with tapestry needle to close up the pumpkin.
Then add curly cues to the base of the stem. Weave in all ends.
