Start with magic circle

Row 1: Ch 2, 10 dc in magic circle, sl st. (10)

Row 2: Ch 2, 2 dc in each stitch, sl st, (20)

Row 3: Ch 2, *2 dc in 1st st, 1 dc in the next st,* sl st. (30)

Row 4:  Ch 2, *2 dc in 1st st, 1 dc in the 4 next st,* sl st. (36)

Row 5 -8: Ch 2, dc in each stitch, sl st. (36)

Row 9: Ch 2, *fpdc, dc,* sl st. (36)

Row 10: Ch 2, *fphdc, hdc,* sl st. (36).

Tie off and weave in ends

Bow

Color B

Ch 71

Row 1: Dc in 3rd ch from hook and in each ch across, ch 2, turn. 

Row 2 -5: Dc in each st across.

Tie off. Weave in ends.

To fold the bow follow pictures below:

(you will need about 12 inches of yarn)

  1. First fold into an upside down T shape.
  2. Then fold in half.
  3. Sew the yarn through the front and the back of the folded sides.

(It will look best if its through the stitches on top of both halves and as closely to the middle as possible)

  1. Loop the yarn around the other side, then go through the back and then the front again.
  2. Pull both ends tight to scrunch up the bow. Make sure you like how the bow looks then knot the yarn. Leave yarn ends for attaching to swaddle.

Sew on vertical(up/down) “ribbon” first, then sew on the horizontal “ribbon”.

Sew on bow with remaining tails of yarn and at least one more spot near the top of the bow.
